Question 1

How long from order to doorbell in Long Island City?

Accepted Answer

Typically 30–55 minutes — LIC sits at the far western end of our Jamaica routes, so the LIE and Queens Boulevard set the pace. Dutch Kills and Queens Plaza addresses often land first; Center Boulevard’s waterfront towers add elevator time on top of the drive. The midday window beats the post-work crush, when both the LIE and your building’s elevators jam simultaneously. Your arrival text is the cue to head down, because the driver must hand the sealed bag directly to you — state law bars leaving it with a doorman. Have your government ID ready; the 21+ verification happens in the lobby, every order.

Question 2

Where is the nearest dispensary to Long Island City?

Accepted Answer

Our nearest store to Long Island City is Cannabis Realm of NY at 172-02 Hillside Ave in Jamaica, Queens. You can shop in store, order pickup, or get same-day delivery to Long Island City.

Question 3

Can my building’s front desk take the handoff for me?

Accepted Answer

No — and that’s the single most important thing LIC customers should know. New York requires licensed drivers to verify the recipient’s age face-to-face with a valid 21+ government ID, so concierges, package rooms and neighbors can’t accept on your behalf. When the arrival text pings, ride down and meet the driver at the door or lobby; the whole exchange takes under a minute. If your tower has a separate service or residential entrance — common on Center Boulevard — specify which one in the order notes. Working late? Time the order for when you’re actually home rather than hoping the desk can hold it, because it can’t.

Question 4

Which pockets of LIC does the route include?

Accepted Answer

All of 11101 and 11109: Hunters Point and the Center Boulevard waterfront, Court Square and the Jackson Avenue corridor, Queens Plaza, Dutch Kills up to Northern Boulevard, Blissville by the creek, and the Queensbridge and Ravenswood blocks along 21st Street and Vernon Boulevard. Border addresses toward Astoria or Sunnyside resolve instantly in the checkout zone check — type the address and you’ll know before you pay. The constant across every pocket: delivery goes to private residences only, so apartments and lofts qualify while offices, coworking spaces, hotels and the Gantry piers don’t. Live-work loft? If it’s your legal residence, you’re fine.

Question 5

Do the towers by Gantry Plaza State Park get deliveries?

Accepted Answer

Constantly — the Center Boulevard and 2nd Street towers facing Gantry Plaza are among our busiest LIC stops. The park itself, its piers and the lawns can’t host a handoff; state rules require your private address, so the driver meets you at your building while the East River view waits. Practical wisdom from many runs: sunset hours pack the waterfront and slow street parking, so evening orders go smoother when you flag a drop-off lane or side entrance in the notes. The famous Pepsi-Cola sign makes a nice backdrop while you wait — but the sealed bag changes hands in your lobby, ID first.

Question 6

Why does checkout make me pay before dispatch?

Accepted Answer

Because New York State mandates it — every licensed cannabis delivery must be paid in full before the driver leaves the dispensary, which is why there’s no cash-on-delivery option anywhere in the state. Payment runs through AeroPay, CanPay, a secure bank-link: connect your account once in about two minutes, then it’s one tap per order. The upside is a frictionless door moment — ID check, sealed bag, done in thirty seconds, no card terminals in a lobby. For payment: delivery and curbside orders are prepaid digitally through AeroPay, CanPay, while in-store pickup at the Jamaica counter also takes cash and debit. Link AeroPay before Friday night and thank yourself later.

Question 7

What cart value makes the trip across Queens free?

Accepted Answer

$99 — hit it and the ride from Jamaica to your LIC tower costs nothing. Below the line, orders still dispatch same-day with a delivery fee shown transparently at checkout. No other minimum exists. Given LIC sits at the long end of our routes, most locals batch orders — an eighth, a tin of gummies and a disposable clears the bar comfortably and saves both the fee and a second wait another day. Taxes and any fee are itemized before you approve payment through AeroPay, CanPay, and prepayment means the total is locked when the car rolls.

Question 8

Is apartment-tower cannabis delivery actually legal in NY?

Accepted Answer

Fully — New York’s adult-use law authorizes licensed dispensaries to deliver to private residences, and apartments in high-rises count exactly the same as houses. Cannabis Realm NY holds the Office of Cannabis Management license that makes it lawful, and the rules ride along on every run: 21+ recipients verified by government ID, person-to-person handoffs, prepaid orders, licensed drivers and lab-tested products in sealed, labeled packaging. Your unit or lobby works; MoMA PS1’s courtyard, a Vernon Boulevard bar and the Gantry piers don’t. Buildings can’t ban you from receiving a legal delivery any more than they can ban your wine shipments — it’s a lawful transaction to your residence.

Question 9

Does the long haul from Jamaica cost LIC customers more?

Accepted Answer

No — zone distance never touches your bill. Above $99 the delivery is free; below it, LIC pays the same flat fee as neighborhoods ten minutes from our door, itemized at checkout before you commit. New York’s cannabis excise and sales taxes are built into the approved total, and because drivers can’t handle payment, nothing gets added in the lobby — no fuel surcharges, no tower fees, no fine print. The one cost worth managing is your time: order before the evening LIE crush and the window tightens noticeably. Bundle to clear the threshold and the economics take care of themselves.

Question 10

What’s available to send to a Court Square address?

Accepted Answer

The whole Jamaica shelf: designer flower and value eighths, pre-rolls and infused joints, 510 carts, pods and disposables, fast-acting gummies, chocolates, seltzers, precision tinctures, recovery topicals and a serious concentrates case. Every item originates in New York’s licensed supply chain, passes mandatory lab testing, and arrives sealed in child-resistant packaging with the compliance label intact — the label is your proof of potency and purity. The menu is live inventory, so what loads is what ships. New drops land regularly and the menu updates in real time, so if you’re chasing something specific, check the live shelf and order when you see it.
