Question 1

How close is Hillcrest to the dispensary, delivery-wise?

Accepted Answer

About as close as delivery gets — the hamlet begins minutes up Route 45 from our door, and most orders arrive within 10–20 minutes of confirmation. Blocks near the Route 45/Eckerson Road corner tend to see the driver fastest; streets toward the New Hempstead side or off Hempstead Road add only a little. Because Hillcrest is often the first stop on a northern loop, ordering just after we open can be startlingly quick. The one deadline that matters: same-day orders must be placed at least 30 minutes before closing, since New York requires prepaid orders to be dispatched before the shift ends.

Question 2

Where is the nearest dispensary to Hillcrest?

Accepted Answer

Hillcrest is part of the Town of Ramapo, which opted out of dispensaries, so there is none in Hillcrest. Our nearest store is Cannabis Realm of NY at 76 Route 59 in Spring Valley. You can shop in store, order pickup, or get same-day delivery to Hillcrest.

Question 3

Since Hillcrest is so close, is pickup the smarter move?

Accepted Answer

It’s a genuine toss-up, which is rare. Pickup at 76 NY-59 is a five-minute hop down Route 45 — order ahead, then come inside to browse with a budtender or take curbside and stay in the car while we bring the bag to the lot. Delivery costs you nothing extra once the cart clears the threshold, and the driver often arrives faster than a round trip during rush hour on 45. Payment is the tiebreaker for some: cash and debit work only at the counter inside, while delivery and curbside are prepaid digitally through AeroPay or CanPay. Either way, 21+ government ID is checked.

Question 4

Does every street in Hillcrest 10977 qualify for delivery?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the whole hamlet is inside the zone: the Route 45 corridor, the Eckerson Road business corner, Hillcrest Center, and the residential blocks stretching toward New Hempstead, New City and the Spring Valley line. Hillcrest shares its 10977 ZIP with Spring Valley itself, so plenty of streets carry a Spring Valley mailing address while sitting in the hamlet — the driver doesn’t care either way, and the checkout zone check validates any address instantly. New York’s single requirement: the drop must be a private residence, so order to your home rather than a shop on the corridor. Boundary blocks are covered on the same loop.

Question 5

Can drivers reach the apartments along the Route 45 corridor?

Accepted Answer

Easily — the corridor’s apartment buildings and multi-family homes are everyday stops, and this is the loop our drivers know best. For shared buildings, two details smooth the hand-off: the delivery must reach you personally, since New York requires a 21+ recipient showing government ID whose name matches the order — a neighbor or lobby drop won’t do — and buzzer or entrance quirks are worth flagging in advance. Add a note at checkout — the team sees it while packing. The arrival text gives a few minutes’ warning to get to the door. Sealed, unbranded bag; the whole stop reads like any courier.

Question 6

Do Hillcrest orders have to be paid before the driver leaves?

Accepted Answer

Yes — that’s New York law for every licensed delivery: the order is paid in full at checkout, before dispatch, through AeroPay or CanPay. Nothing is settled at the door — drivers carry no cash, no reader and no ability to add charges. Curbside pickup at the store follows the same digital prepay rule. If cash or debit is your preference, in-store pickup at the Spring Valley counter is the lane that takes both, along with all three digital options. The upside of prepay is speed: the doorstep stop is a quick 21+ ID check and a hand-off, seconds even in a shared building.

Question 7

Can I place a tiny order from Hillcrest?

Accepted Answer

You can — no minimum blocks an order, and being five minutes away doesn’t change the rules. What changes with size is only the fee line: carts under $50 show a small delivery charge at checkout, displayed before you pay; reach the threshold and delivery is free. The live cart meter shows the gap, and closing it with a pre-roll or low-dose edible often costs less than the fee itself. Some neighbors order small and often precisely because we’re close — that works, but the bundling math usually favors one slightly larger cart. Prepayment locks whatever total you approve.

Question 8

Are Hillcrest deliveries covered by a state license?

Accepted Answer

Fully — Cannabis Realm NY holds an adult-use license from the New York Office of Cannabis Management, and every Hillcrest run operates under it. That means lab-tested, batch-tracked products in sealed child-resistant packaging, NYS-licensed drivers, mandatory prepayment, and a hand-off that requires a 21+ recipient with valid government ID at a private residence — house, apartment or basement unit all qualify. Those checks are what separate a licensed delivery from the unlicensed sellers that still circulate in the area. One more statewide rule worth remembering: products stay sealed in any vehicle afterward, because open containers in cars remain illegal in New York.

Question 9

Does the short hop to Hillcrest cost anything?

Accepted Answer

Not once your cart reaches $50 — above the line, the run up Route 45 is free. Below it, a small delivery fee appears at checkout before you approve payment; nothing is ever added afterward, because state-required digital prepayment fixes the total the moment you pay. Menu prices are identical to the shelf at 76 NY-59 — proximity doesn’t earn a discount, but distance never adds a markup either, here or anywhere in the zone. If the cart meter shows you within a few dollars of free delivery, one extra item nearly always beats paying the fee.

Question 10

Are pre-rolls and flower both deliverable to Hillcrest?

Accepted Answer

Both, plus the rest of the licensed menu: flower from eighths to ounces, single pre-rolls and multi-packs, vape cartridges and disposables, edibles and infused beverages, tinctures, capsules, concentrates and topicals. Hillcrest orders pull from live Spring Valley inventory at checkout, and payment reserves your items instantly — with the hamlet this close, the gap between shelf and doorstep can be a matter of minutes. Everything arrives sealed in child-resistant packaging with lab results traceable by batch, per Office of Cannabis Management rules. If you’re new to the menu, start low on edibles and work up slowly — the delivery is fast; the effects take their time.
