Question 1

What’s the typical delivery time to Thornwood?

Accepted Answer

Typically 15–30 minutes from dispatch — Thornwood shares the fast lane with Hawthorne next door, since the Saw Mill Parkway and Route 9A put drivers at Columbus Avenue within minutes of leaving the store. The Rose Hill blocks and central grid usually land early; the Nanny Hagen side and the watershed-edge lanes run later, and school-hour traffic on Columbus Avenue is the main variable. Same-day orders must be placed at least 30 minutes before close. Drivers text when a few minutes out, so have your government ID ready — the 21+ face-to-face check is part of every handoff, short drive or not.

Question 2

Where is the nearest dispensary to Thornwood?

Accepted Answer

Thornwood is part of the Town of Mount Pleasant, which opted out of dispensaries, so there is none in Thornwood. Our nearest store is Cannabis Realm of NY at 475 Central Ave in White Plains. You can shop in store, order pickup, or get same-day delivery to Thornwood.

Question 3

Thornwood delivery versus a run down the Saw Mill?

Accepted Answer

Delivery, for most errands — even a short drive costs you parking, browsing and the return leg, while a prepaid order arrives sealed at your door inside a fifteen-to-thirty-minute window. The counter at 475 Central Ave is worth the trip when you want the physical shelf, in-person answers before choosing, or to pay cash or debit, which New York permits only in-store. Curbside makes the drive nearly frictionless: prepay online, park in the free lot, and the sealed bag comes to your window in a couple of minutes. Thornwood’s proximity means all three modes work — and all three end with the same 21+ government ID check.

Question 4

Does the zone cover every street in Thornwood?

Accepted Answer

Yes — all of 10594: the central grid around Rose Hill Shopping Center, the Kensico School blocks, Sherman Avenue and the lanes flanking the North County Trailway, the Nanny Hagen Road side and the wooded edges toward the Kensico watershed. Hamlet boundaries with Hawthorne, Pleasantville and Valhalla never interrupt service — every neighbor is in our zone, and checkout reads your street address rather than the postal map, so line-straddling houses are served like any other. Deliveries go to private residences only, per state law; townhome-complex directions and buzzer codes belong in the order notes. Every delivery closes with a government ID confirming 21+ at the door.

Question 5

Can you drop off at Rose Hill Shopping Center?

Accepted Answer

No — Rose Hill is commercial property, and New York restricts cannabis delivery to private residences only, so parking-lot handoffs are off the table there, along the Trailway, or at any storefront in the hamlet. The neighborhoods wrapped around the shopping center are everyday stops, though, and the fix is simple: order to your home address and run your Rose Hill errands while the driver works the route. Drivers text a few minutes out, and same-day orders go in at least 30 minutes before close, so sequencing is easy. However the timing shakes out, the finish never changes — government ID, 21 or older, checked in person at your door.

Question 6

How does payment work for Thornwood orders?

Accepted Answer

Prepaid from start to finish — New York requires delivery orders paid in full before dispatch, so checkout runs through AeroPay or CanPay, and the driver carries nothing but sealed bags. AeroPay and CanPay link your bank once and clear future orders in a tap. Cash at the door doesn’t exist in the legal market — that’s statute, and it keeps the doorstep handoff to seconds. If cash or debit matters, in-store pickup at the White Plains counter takes both, an easy hop from Thornwood; curbside stays prepaid like delivery. Every option ends with the face-to-face 21+ ID check.

Question 7

What’s the free-delivery minimum for 10594?

Accepted Answer

$99 — cross it and the ride up Route 9A costs nothing, with your total locked at checkout through AeroPay or CanPay. It’s a modest bar: an eighth, a pre-roll pack and a tin of gummies typically clears it comfortably. Nothing is collected or adjusted at the door — prepayment law makes the checkout total final before the car moves. A cart a few dollars shy is usually one low-dose edible from qualifying, which beats paying any fee. There are no distance tiers in a hamlet this close; the threshold is the entire pricing structure. Curbside and counter pickup at 475 Central Ave carry no minimum. The 21+ ID check rides with every order.

Question 8

Is home cannabis delivery legal in Thornwood?

Accepted Answer

Fully legal. Cannabis Realm NY is licensed by the New York State Office of Cannabis Management, and licensed dispensary delivery is lawful across Westchester, the Town of Mount Pleasant’s hamlets included. The framework applies to every order: recipients must be 21+ with valid government ID checked at the door, delivery goes only to private residences — not Rose Hill’s lot, not the Trailway, not a Columbus Avenue business — and payment settles before dispatch. Every product is lab-tested and tracked seed-to-sale from licensed cultivator to your sealed bag. Unlicensed sellers can’t show that paper trail and never card. The ID check at your door is the system working exactly as written.

Question 9

Will I pay a fee for Thornwood delivery?

Accepted Answer

Not if your order clears $99 — above the threshold, delivery is free to every street in 10594, Rose Hill grid to watershed edge. Below it, any charge appears at checkout before you approve payment, and state prepayment rules through AeroPay or CanPay mean the number can never change at the doorstep. Thornwood’s short distance earns no special surcharge — the threshold is the whole model everywhere we serve. If the cart is hovering a few dollars under, one pre-roll typically tips it over for less than the fee itself. In-store and curbside pickup at 475 Central Ave remain free at any order size. Every handoff includes the 21+ government ID check.

Question 10

What’s stocked for Thornwood deliveries?

Accepted Answer

Everything on the White Plains shelf: flower from licensed New York cultivators, pre-rolls, vape cartridges, edibles and beverages, concentrates, tinctures and topicals — all lab-tested, sealed and labeled with scannable certificates of analysis readable before you buy. The menu mirrors live inventory, so a Thornwood listing is in stock at that moment, and the short window means same-evening orders are entirely practical. The range covers careful entry points — 2mg gummies, balanced tinctures — through high-potency concentrates for experienced buyers. Delivery, curbside and the counter all draw from one stock pool, and every transfer concludes with a government ID confirming 21+.
